I am in Bratislava right now and will be leaving this morning to travel to Prague. This again is just going to be another quick post. Sorry I don’t have more time.
Bratislava is an amazing city. It has a really small feel an it’s totally accessible. Compared to Venice it seems like paradise. Sure there are tourists here but not in the same over the top way that there are tourists in Venice. Venice is for sale; you can easily buy what ever part of Venice that you want (glass, wine or masks) but I can’t say the same for Bratislava (thank god).
I walked around the old town, visited some churches, went to a couple of museums (the clock museum was a surprising favorite), and then I drank a couple of coffees (you know for comparisons sake and because I am always in search of a great coffee). All in all it was a great day. Prague here I come.

I don’t care if it’s short, it always makes my day when I see a new post on your blog.
Sign me – proud of you and not embarressed to admit it – MoM
Prague! I studied abroad in Prague a few years ago. I’m in love with the city. Though unfortunately I think you’ll find that Prague is for sale as well.
I can’t think of anywhere to suggest you go, of course, now that I’m actually trying. Except a cafe called Cafe Slavia that sells a drink by the same name, which is a latte with absinthe in it. It’s delicious, and not very strong. Apparently a bunch of intelligentsia used to go there and drink that and write and talk about philosophy (at least they do in my head). Enjoy!
